Dyson DC25 All-Floors |
After days of researching and reading the latest reviews on the top sites today, I have finally decided that I will choose the Dyson DC25 cleaner and buy it. After the purchase and working with my new cleaner I thought maybe I should return the favor and write a review about it. Of course, I would not try to sell out the product to you not unless you are already sold to it even before you found this review. Below are my observations about the products and honest opinion of what I think should be improved with this Dyson upright vacuum cleaner.
The benefits which I think makes the most out of the money I spent:
- It has a very strong suction power that I need not to worry about running one area of the floor twice.
- Although this machine is all muscles, surprisingly, it’s very light!
- The ball technology of this upright vacuum cleaner is very effective in maneuvering the cleaner.
- As much as possible I clean all areas possible and with this cleaner I don’t get a hard time doing it.
- It comes with menu buttons that are found on the bar brush.
- It can easily adjust from one floor to the next.
- The telescoping wand really works like magic.
- No brainers when assembling and dismantling this Dyson vacuum cleaner
- Best for small houses and apartments because it does not need a large space for storage
Things That I Think Are Not that Good About Dyson DC25:
- The price is way above the roof.
- The length of the cord needs more extension and cleaning one room from another requires me to transfer from one outlet to the other.
- You need to empty the bin more often than you use to.
- The small brush head rotator spins using the suction power of the machine. Unfortunately, when I used the wand extension tool I did not find it advantageous at all.
The Dyson DC25 is not your big daddy thing but it has a powerhouse feature that is made up of function and suction. With a weight about 11lbs, this little monster can bring you surprises when working. My first vacuum cleaner was just fine and I never thought how crappy it was until I used the DC25 for the first time. I did care less about how good my vac could clean but I was amazed how much dirt my new upright vacuum cleaner collects! My apart is not that big but cleaning my floor is easier because I can easily maneuver and glide through obstacles, thanks to the ball design of it has. It’s easier to operate and it cleans dust great, period!
At first I was hesitant using it with my carpet floor but with the quick transition button I can just push it all the way and continue cleaning from the hard floor to my carpet. I don’t really clean my place that much but the telescoping wand of my Dyson vacuum cleaner makes it easier for me to reach the walls and the canister is easier to clean.
I’m not a techy person and I do prefer easy to use stuff at my place and this vacuum is one of my favorite to assemble. What I like about this machine is that with 3 or four clicks it’s good to go, and if your one to hate puzzles then I sure bet you wouldn’t mind assembling this machine on your own.
Reserving a storage space on your tool room will no longer become a problem because this slim machine can fit anywhere you want to keep it. No more heavy lift, no fumbling and no stubborn wheels to worry about because this little devil fits anywhere like your socks.
Like any other good story there is always a bitter side and a little frustration to bear. If there is any disadvantage that a Dyson upright vacuum cleaner has, it’s the price tag. Although, all in all I was a satisfied buyer, it was a big decision making for me buying it from the start. It’s more like you have a lot of expectations because of the price you paid for it and being scared of the fact that you’ll end up disappointed in the end. Fortunately, I did not end up that way.
In addition to some of the cons, I realize that when the brush head is already turned off and you also turn off the machine it will tend to switch back on before the vacuum totally shuts down. This is quite bothersome because it can shorten the lifespan of the power brush head in the end. Also, the power cord should have been a little longer and Dyson should have figure that as well.
I found a pretty good video in YouTube:
Other Details of Dyson DC25 That I Wish to Share
I have two kids and three dogs which mean that not only do I need a great vacuum for my floors, but also one with powerful attachments for my furniture. Since my sofa is a hot spot for two lazy kitties and a hundred-pound dog, I tend to get a steady layer of pet hair to deal with.I have pets in my place (2 Dogs of my husband and 3 cats of mine) which means I need a very good cleaner for the floor, carpet, couch and bed. I deal with hairs everywhere, everyday and I cannot emphasize how easy it is to clean them with the Dyson DC25 attachments.
Who I Recommend This to:
- If you have pets like me then you should get this one.
- If you have dust problems and your asthmatic, you probably need this because it has a HEPA filtering system with it.
- If you’re a clean freak and you need a monster cleaner, then this Dyson vacuum cleaner is for you.
Spending four hundred seventy grand is not a daily thing for me, but the best thing that ever happened to me is when I got my Dyson DC25. It’s really reliable and it’s made of quality materials. No more less than what expected from the leading brand in the market today.
